The students, who are from surrounding high schools including Crenshaw and Roosevelt, got a taste of college life as they lived on campus and created a four-part web series called “Cheese Brothers.” The Fellows received instruction from SFTV faculty as well as industry experts including SFTV alum James Wong (American Horror Story, X-Files), and they also met with representatives of LMU’s admissions office to learn about the college application process and tips for financing their college education.

Los Angeles Times profiled the College Residency program in their article “Teens try out college, entertainment worlds in Ghetto Film School-LMU program.” Read the full-piece piece here.
